Frequently Asked Questions

Our friends at Donington Park have produced full details on the costs, facilities and all your other camping queries - simply click here and then scroll down to CAMPING INFORMATION. Alternatively, check out the dedicated campsite at Donington Park Farm House, which is literally outside the gate - all the details are here! The cost of camping at Donington's dedicated campsite does not include your weekend ticket to Convoy In The Park, this must be bought separately. That said, if you're booking in your truck you can pitch up your tent next to your wheels in the Park, and you'll get a couple of adult tickets thrown in for good measure! If you've got any questions not answered there, get in touch with us via our Contact Us page!

Good question! If a show is cancelled, all truck bookings will be refunded. All visitor tickets will be valid for the new date of the show, or next year’s events.

No, we're afraid not, unless yours is a Guide Dog. We love dogs just as much as you, which is actually why they aren’t allowed as we wouldn’t want any canines coming a cropper with so many trucks about. Please leave them safely at home, as we won’t be able to let them in. Sorry.

No, we're afraid not. We don’t love balloons quite as much as we love dogs (see above) and they’re not allowed on any of our sites for safety reasons. Human safety, not balloon safety. Any balloons brought on to site will need to be popped, so please save everyone’s tears and leave them at home.

Nope. Afraid not. Once parked up, no Show Truck movements are allowed, unless authorised and marshalled by the event management team

Not on site, but camping is available and can be booked at the same time as you book your visitor tickets.

We have one main rule, and that is that no engines are to be run after 23:00 or before 07:00 please, thank you.

Nope. As per the environmental act, strictly no air horns can be used.

All vehicles and contents are on the sites at the owner’s risk.

It’ll take more than a bit of bad weather to dull our love of trucks! If the weather looks dodgy, we recommend wearing wellies. There’ll also be plenty of umbrellas and ponchos available from various stands if needed. Besides, we were all born waterproof, right?

You can find full details for the line-ups for Convoy on the Plain, Convoy in the Park and Convoy Cymru on their event pages. In a nutshell, there’ll be trucks, racing, stands, entertainment and lots and lots of fun.

All three events are the brainchild of the UK’s biggest commercial vehicle fans over at Road Transport Media. They are the clever bods that produce truck loads of specialist content every week for Truck & Driver, Commercial Motor and Motor Transport. They also like to get out and about – pandemic permitting – so they dreamed up these events six years ago as a good excuse for a day out with like-minded truck fans.

Depends. How much fun can you handle? If in doubt, go all out! We’ll be at all three.

Just that we operate a ZERO tolerance policy regarding drunken and/or anti-social behaviour. But that’s ok, because our crowd is always a good crowd which we really appreciate.
